Double Exposure Blackjack

Key Features of the Game

01

At the start of the round, the dealer receives two face-up cards instead of one face-up and one face-down card, as in classic blackjack.

02

Players can see both of the dealer’s cards and make decisions based on this information.

03

To compensate for this player advantage, the game has modified rules that reduce the chances of winning.

Main Rule Differences

  • Blackjack (a combination of an Ace and a ten-value card) pays 1:1, not 3:2 as in the classic version.
  • If the dealer and player have equal points (except for blackjack), the dealer wins.
  • Surrender and insurance options are not available.
  • Only one split is allowed.
  • The dealer stands on all 17s, including soft 17.
  • Doubling down is possible on any two cards.

Gameplay and Actions

  • Take an additional card (hit) to strengthen their hand.
  • Stand and keep their current point total.
  • Double their bet and receive one additional card (double down).
  • Split a pair of equal cards into two hands, but no more than once.
  • Be more aggressive when the dealer has a weak hand.
  • Play more cautiously when the dealer has a strong hand.
  • Make unusual moves, such as splitting tens in certain situations when it’s advantageous.
  • Hitting with 19 against the dealer’s 20 is an unconventional move compared to the classic strategy.
